Anointing for Abundance

I attended the Feast yesterday, August 9.
It was perfect timing -- God's timing.
I am reading 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich
by Br. Bo Sanchez.

Simply put, if you believe that wealth
empowers you to help others, then by all
means be rich. But be truly rich.

Br. Bo shared his personal experiences on how
God provided his financial needs when he choose
to help others. It was really funny
but very inspiring.
How many times have God manifested His
abundant goodness in our lives?
Are we aware that we are constantly blessed
by God, or are we too
preoccupied counting the bad eggs?

In the end I am struck by these lines from
2 Corinthians 9:

"...for God loves the one who gives gladly.
And God is able to
give more than you need, so that you will
always have all you
need for yourselves and more than enough
for every good cause."

Amen.

Now, my friend, start being truly rich.
Be anointed for abundance. =)

Up Close with Br. Bo Sanchez

I am a big fan of Br. Bo Sanchez. Whenever there's internet access,I read his blogs and watch him preach. It's because I want to be constantly reminded and inspired.
Reminded that our purpose for living is to love others. Inspired because he is a GREAT example of a human being living to love others.

I took the chance to finally meet him today, August 9, 2009. My husband and I attended The Feast at the Valle Verde Country Club in Pasig, within the vicinity of the Ultra.

I am happy that before Bo's talk, a mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Alex (I hope his name's right). And after the mass, there he was.

I told my fellow legionaries that he is good-looking in person. And I'm not kidding. Perhaps that is what really happens if you serve God wholeheartedly and passionately, you become younger than your real age. =)

After the Feast I summoned the courage to approach him, introduce myself and my husband, have his book (8 Secrets of the Truly Rich) signed by him and have my picture taken with him (another photo with my husband). I am so happy to meet him and shake his hands. I guess this is what it feels if you're in front of the person you admire. You smile from ear to ear.

How much more if we are face to face with our God? That, I believe, would be a fantastic experience! But before that happens, I think I have to make myself worthy of such encounter.

Lord, thank you for the gift of Br. Bo Sanchez. Thank you for sending him into our lives so that through his works, we are inspired to love you in others.
